A native of Los Angeles, Ryan Coyle is a multi-talented and award winning musician with a strong musical background. He is a graduate of the Percussion Institute of Technology at Musician's Institute in Hollywood, Ca. where he received the Most Improved Student Achievement Award for the graduating class of Fall 05.
Together with co-writer George Woods (New Montgomary and ex-Sydnee Duran), Ryan's debut album TIME is a glimpse of what's to come. The followup album, Anne Hathaway, inspired by and dedicated to the actress will strike a chord with fans of melodic rock.
Ryan's vocal style has been compared to Morrissey, Eddie Money, Jim Morrison and Michael Stipe while George's guitar playing has the melodic soulfulness of Neal Schon combined with the technical proficiency of Paul Gilbert.
In addition to his solo career, Ryan has lent his skills as a sideman to local artists such as Sydnee Duran (signed to Hollywood Records), Jessica Callahan (Orange County Music Award winner) and PEP, as well as founding the award winning band Chime (Southbay Music Awards 2007 Pop Band of the Year). He is also currently writing with Swedish musician's Sarah Shade and Jennie Nord for their solo albums as well as EYE and Scandinavia.
